Spring
2008
Dear
Parents,
Spring
is a wonderful time of the school year. The increased warmth and sunshine add
an extra bounce in everyone’s step. I can’t help but smile as I take in all
that is around me in the Simonian Center. Our students have grown tremendously
since the fall. Students are confident in their routines, able to accomplish
much more, and they know it!
Spring
is full of exciting activities. Our first family game night will feature Bingo.
Each grade will embark on a field trip to an engaging destination.
Kindergarteners will experience the New England Aquarium’s Tidepool first hand.
The Books & Beyond Ceremony will recognize many. We will all be winners on
Field Day.
I
am also looking forward to our first annual family concert in honor of Claudia
Simonian, our beloved principal for whom our school is named. Admission will
simply be an item that local organizations are in need of such as nonperishable
food. The performer is incredible… you will soon see him regularly on a
national television station. While most
parents and staff can recall fond memories, many young students did not get to
meet this prominent educator. This annual event will share with students just
how special Mrs. Simonian was to the Sutton community.
I
look forward to seeing you at some or all of these spring events!
Sincerely,
Lauren
Dubeau
Principal
