Dear Sutton Elementary Parent:

I will be assuming my duties as the new principal of Sutton Elementary School on Monday, July 9th. This will begin my fourth year as an elementary school administrator but my 34th year as an education professional. I clearly enjoy what I do and hope that it is obvious to you when we eventually meet.

Please feel free to stop at school at your convenience this summer for a brief chat. I am conducting intake interviews for staff and any interested parents. I would like to use the results of these interviews to drive our goals for the upcoming year. Noting successes is important, just as important to make note of those things that might need a little more attention.

I will be at school for parent visits from August 1st through August 7th and then from August 20th through the opening of school. Please call the school if you would prefer to speak over the phone.
