Directions and Requirements
Directions: You will be working alone on this assignment.
1) When you have completed your required assignment and emailed it to the teacher for credit, visit other links from the Civil War site to enhance your understading of the human impact of war. Additional reaction paragraphs will be accepted for extra credit.
2) Open MS Word or Notepad and record notes about your visits. Record both facts and reactions to what you see. Save this to your server account (a.k.a. your "name / home" drive) or to your "bracelet" drive if you want to take the information home. These notes will be the basis of work that you turn in to me, so don't skip this step! You will make your task more difficult if you do.
Requirements for extra credit:
1) Compose, spell-check and grammar check a brief reaction paragraph (5 –7 sentences) about any site that you visit. Label each paragraph as Extra Credit I, Extra Credit II, etc.. Record the URL/www for the sites upon which you are commenting at the top of each paragraph. (Just copy and paste the address into your open document when you're taking your notes.) Keep all extra credit reactions in one document.
2) Save your document, naming it "Your initials" "extra credit ".
2) Send your reaction document to me via email as an attachment. If you do not remember how to do this, ask for help!
3) Suggestions for additional Civil War sites that you recommend are welcome!
