Dear Parents,

I am happy to announce that we are again offering a direct book order process for summer reading titles, in cooperation with Barnes & Noble. If you wish to participate in this order program, all you will have to do is select the appropriate book titles from the list provided in this packet, fill out, and return the order form and payment. We will order the titles in bulk. The books will be distributed to students during June.

This program benefits the school as a fundraiser for the MS/HS Library Media Center. We will receive a check for funds totaling between 20% and 25% of the profits from Barnes & Noble. Last year’s check totaled several hundred dollars! You will also be saving if you participate, because no sales tax is charged to you on these purchases.

This order program is offered for your convenience and your participation is strictly voluntary. You may choose to purchase the summer reading titles at another bookstore or borrow the titles from a local library.

If you do take advantage of this program please return the completed form with payment to school by no later than Friday, May 9. Checks can be made out to “Sutton Public Schools”. Write – summer reading – in the memo field of your check. Please note that copies of summer reading titles will be on display for preview, in the MS/HS library. Students may come in to look over the books at their convenience.

Any summer reading books that you order will be given to your child to bring home during June.
