    Why Join the PTO?
    Your contributions go directly to helping your child’s school. The PTO relies on volunteers for programs, fundraisers and events.  The success of these events demonstrates the power of very dedicated people and generous donations of time, effort and money.  The PTO does not expect families to financially support every activity but appreciates all support in any form.
    You can choose to participate in a variety of activities from baking to chairing an event. If your schedule does not allow you to commit time, your membership donation still provides much needed support.
    We need YOU – your contributions, talents and enthusiasm!

    Allocation of Funds

    The PTO raised funds that allowed us to provide a variety of enrichment programs  and events to  students and their families.
    • Reading programs: Fundations, Common Core, online Raz-Kids
    • Every Day Counts math programs
    • Museum of Science visits
    • New England Aquarioumj visit
    • After school enrichment
    • iPad Mini with TV and projector
    • Kindergarten Ice Cream Social
    • Kid's Night Out (K-3)
    • Fun Night Out (grades 4 &5)
    • Chain of Lights participation
    • Breakfast with Santa and ornament crafts
    • Bingo Night
    • Storage containers for classroom libraries
    • Partial funding of mural in Elementary School Hallway
    • Supported staff with Time for Teachers and Teacher Appreciation week

    Science Programs

    Time for Teachers

    Museum of Science and New England Aquarium

    An opportunity to help out any teacher with copying papers, sorting & binding books, etc.
    Fundraising Events

    Various events through out the year, including new Spring/Fall bulb fundraiser
    Breakfast with Santa

    (December) Assist student helpers as they serve breakfast to families while they visit with Santa.
    Ornament Day
    (December) Assist children making ornaments and other holiday crafts. 
    After School Enrichment 

    Exciting after school learning activities for  K-5
    Staff Appreciation

    (May) Help show our appreciation to teachers and staff by assisting with the various Appreciation Week events.
    General Mills Box Tops
    Collection of Box Tops, redeemed for cash.  

    Family Fun Nights 
    Bingo Night, science night, Kids Night Out, Fun Night Out, and other fun activities for students and families.

    Chain of Lights
    Participation in the town wide event with fun activities for families at the school.
