     My famous person is Paul Revere.


    Why is this person famous?

    He warned the Patriots that the British were coming.

    My famous person is Benjamin Franklin.

    Why is this person famous?

    He was the first representative of the new United States in Europe and a great inventor.

    Tell two interesting facts you learned about this person?

    Benjamin Franklin discovered electricity.  He was the tenth son in a family of 17 children.

    My famous person is Alexander Graham Bell.

    Why is this person famous?

    Alexander Graham Belll invented the telephone and hydroplane.

    He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland.
    He improved on Thomas Edison's phonograph.

    My famous person is Horace Mann.

    Why is this person famous?

    He was the Father of American Education and ran for and won the state senate in 1833.

    His birthplace was Franklin, MA.
    He opened the country's first school in Lexington, MA.

    My famous person is John Quincy Adams.

    Why is this person famous?

    My person was a leader in the Revolutionary War.  He was elected the sixth president of the United States.

    Tell two interesting facts you learned about this person.

    John Quincy Adams was born July 11, 1767 in Quincy, MA.
    His father was the second president of the United States.

    My person is famous because he was one of the founding farthers of the U.S.A.

    He helped write both the Declaration of Independence and the U.S Constitution.He also helped make the conies become a nation.

    My famous person is  Ben Franklin.

    Why is this person famous?

    He proved that lightning is  a form of electricity.

    Tell two intesting facts you learned about this person.

    One of the facts I learned was that he was the Founding Father of the USA.

    He was one of 17 children
