    Every student in Grades 1 & 2 will be participating in a "computer" class each week. These classes take place in the elementary school computer lab, room 133.  My curriculum includes introducing/practicing proper keyboards skills, technology literacy topics, and activities that model digital citizenship.
    In the "files" section below, I have attached a copy of the Massachusetts Technology Literacy Standards and Expectations for Grades K -12. Also I have included an excerpt targeting the elementary expectations which should be accomplished by the end of grade 2.     Thanks to the support of the "Friends" P.T.O., students in both SCEL and SES can now log in from home to practice their typing skills and play reinforcement games with the Type to Learn 4 program.
